Sorry for posting this 11 days later. I graduated on June 10 at 4:00 p.m.
Well my graduation was pretty nice. We got there around 1:30, 1:45 pm. We had to wait till 4 o'clock to enter the coliseum. For the two hours+ we waited
around in this room. Putting on our caps and gowns and making sure we were in the correct row. It was so boring and not only that it was hot! They didn't
even have chairs for us to sit in!
At around 3:50 we getting ready to go into the coliseum when they stopped and we were there standing wondering what was going on. Then at around 4:00 we proceded to go into the coliseum. I had tears in my eyes. lol. We sat down and our principle talked and then the Salutorian and Valedictiorian both gave their speeches. Then it was time to get our diplomas even though we didn't really get them. We just got some cover. Then our class president presented our class gift and it has to do with our Alma Mater. I can't remember.
Anyway our principle told us to stand up, move our tassle from left to right cause it symbolizes something to our parents. I can't remember. I feel bad. lol. :( Then we throw our caps into the air and then left. Well in an orderly fashion. My mom and our friend Jackie and I went to Red Lobster for dinner. Then we went back home and I got dressed to go to Main Event.
My mom dropped me off at the HS and then I had to go and check in. They gave me this wrist band thing with the color blue. Well we played games but around 12:30, 1:00 am I started to get tired. lol. Some girl suggested that they had us go home at 2 instead of 4 and I agree with her.
They had prizes but sadly I didn't get any. :(
Well all in all it was a pretty good night/graduation.
